Active Advocacy

Advocacy is the process of providing active verbal and written support for a given position, and it forms a major component of the Chamber's mandate.

Individual businesses sometimes find it difficult to express individual concerns, or to know who they should speak to about a problem affecting their business. The Chamber is in constant touch with its members, and encourages them to speak out on areas of concern. As a respected and well established organization, the Chamber often takes formal positions on issues that concern its membership, lending a credible and influential voice to the debate.
