As a non-profit, member-driven organization, the Timmins Chamber of Commerce has served as the voice of the region’s business community since 1949 as one of the largest accredited chambers of commerce in northeastern Ontario. It is governed by a 21-member Board of Directors, which uses feedback and input from its 800 members to ensure the organization continues to build a strong business climate through advocacy, networking, information sharing and member programs.
Throughout the year, the Timmins Chamber provides a wide variety of opportunities for business to engage in more than 50 events as well as various policy committees. These initiatives allow businesses to become better equipped to handle the changing demands of the modern economy, while working to make the legislative and policy changes needed to ensure that Timmins, the province, and the country are truly a great place to do business.
