Corridor plans for the City

One of the Task Force's top priorities is to make recommendations to the Board with respect to the preservation of our transportation corridors. Development must proceed in such a way as to maintain the long-term sustainability of infrastructure that is vital to our community and our business members. This includes but is not limited to rail and road corridors, bicycle paths, walking trails, snowmobile trails, parks and recreational land, and skiing trails.

Infrastructure maintenance

We consider all valid suggestions from members with respect to infrastructure maintenance and improvements for snow removal, road construction, airport, buses, to sewer and water. We also make recommendations and policy suggestions to the Board for action with Municipal, Provincial and Federal bodies.
