The Chamber's role as an advocate is an important part of its mandate. Advocacy is the process of providing active verbal and written support for a given position. That's why it's important to have your feedback when the Chamber sets priorities at the beginning of each year.

Individual businesses sometimes find it difficult to express individual concerns, or to know who they should speak to about a problem affecting their business. The Chamber is in constant touch with its members, and encourages them to speak out on areas of concern.
